- This toolbox and collection of tools was used by Joseph Rogers, who worked in the Ordnance Machine Shop, Shop 36, responsible for building antiaircraft guns and other naval ordnance. Tools include: 3 punches, 1 centering gauge, 2 telescoping gauges (depth), 4 hand-cutting tools, 5 filing tools, 2 micrometers, 1 thermometer (mercury glass rod), 1 pipe wrench’ 1 pair of shears, 1 sharpening block, 1 ball-peen hammer, 1 3-inch scraper, and 1 cutting tool with blue handle.
