These views were used as part of an advertising campaign by the Singer Manufacturing Company to promote both Singer and Wheeler & Wilson sewing machines. The view looking east shows Dry Dock 2 and Building 60. The view looking west shows the launchingways on the left and Cob Dock and the Williamsburg Bridge on the right.
