- Plastic plaque removed from the USS Constellation (CV-64) upon its decommissioning in 2003. Plaques similar to this one were located throughout the ship and were the only reference to the Yard on board. In 1960, while the Constellation was under construction at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, a deadly fire broke out that killed 50 shipyard workers.
