Jim Whitlock served aboard the U.S.S. Duluth (LPD-6). After leaving the Navy he lived in Tyrone, Georgia.
Scope and Content
This collection consists of material related to the USS Duluth (LPD-6) including a wooden crest with the ship’s logo, a commemorative medallion, and a postcard. There are also three 4” x 5” color photos from the Duluth’s decommissioning, as well as reproductions of the commissioning and decommissioning ceremony programs.
