Administrative/Biographical History: Exploring food as a source for community, celebration, commiseration, communication, and remembrance, TASTEMAKERS showcased the work by Yard-based artist and designer Steph Mantis. Working in close collaboration with restauranteurs at BLDG 77 - Brooklyn Roasting Company, Grandchamps, Jalapa Jar, Russ & Daughters, Transmitter Brewing and Rustik Tavern - Mantis revealed hidden worlds of color and beauty through large-scale digital prints and small-scale sculpture.

TASTEMAKERS ran from May 10, 2018 through November 3, 2018. 1 tenant participated in this show. It was the third exhibit displayed in the gallery space at BLDG 92.
Scope and Content: This collection contains materials related to the TASTEMAKERS Exhibition that was displayed in The Brooklyn Navy Yard Center at BLDG 92 (BLDG 92), hosted by the Exhibits and Programs Department of BNYDC.
